Got out the torch and jigsaw today. My dad helped me cut the plexiglas into the shape I needed. (The Boba T) It chipped at the bottom but I'm just gonna say that's 'battle scarring' :D
On a slightly more awesome note, I now have a light up flamethrower for my armor. It's nothing too fancy but I'm proud. On a search for cheap Halloween candy at the dollar store I found some 2-for-a-buck L.E.D. candles. They were tea sized candles. I got two packs and popped one open with my box-cutter as soon as I got home.
I had already made a pseudo-compartment for a mock flamethrower on top of my left armpiece. See?

(I Sharpie'd it red) I chopped this baby up a bit to get the L.E.D. thing inside. I broke the first light, of course. But by the second one I knew what I was doing.
I popped off the back casing of the candle with my knife. Then I cut off the stupid fake-flame covering the L.E.D. I pulled all of the guts out of the casing and threw it away. I finally chopped the sides and all the other bumps that were sticking out until it would fit into the flamethrower chamber. I taped the battery cover on and inserted the piece switch-side up, of course.

I'm quite proud of myself. It makes a decent flashlight too. ^_^
